In today's world too many celebrations are overlooked or are just plain forgotten. Personally I believe this is a tragedy. We at times look past these opportunities to punctuate our lives and lift them from the routine with the joy and enthusiasm of recognizing a special event such as the accomplishment of a 25th or 50th wedding anniversary which deserves acknowledgment and gives many attending  a re-connection as well as hope for those preparing to embark on the same journey. The Bar and Bat mitzvahs we plan, the birthday parties and Executive corporate events all add a level of richness to our lives and help in the making of the beautiful tapestry we call our lives....pity those who do not celebrate their tapestry is thread bear. One of my favorite lines is from Auntie Mame...

" Life is a Banquet and some poor....... are starving."
